Monte spent part of the morning testing all the outlets to see which breaker controls that outlet.
He
had a little helper in the form one of our cats, Pumpkin. This cat is a trip-he is the nosiest cat I
have ever seen and has to investigate everything-
that is when he isn’t grooming
himself, an activity that takes up a lot of his time.
Even though he is going to be 8 years old
soon, Pumpkin is like a little kitten when it comes to dangling items-he can’t
resist trying to grab whatever it is-in this case it was the camera strap.
Anne, on the other hand, spends most of her
day sleeping. The only exercise she gets
is when Pumpkin chases her.
After making the list of breaker controls,
Monte measured and was happy to see that the sub panel would fit right next to
the main panel in the bathroom.
He cut
out the opening and discovered he would have ample room to connect the wires.
I
spent most of the early afternoon sitting outside.
The weather has been so unpredictable so when
it is warm enough to be out I take advantage of it. I’ve gotten really lazy the last couple of
weeks while Monte has been busy with the solar project. I am looking forward to its completion so we
can get back to hiking and more physical activities.
I
brought some chicken cutlets to my daughter Renee’s house for dinner. Her partner Deb is in NY with family and her
twin daughters are with their dad this week because they have off for Spring
break so it was just the three of us for dinner. After we ate, we got caught up on one of our
favorite shows-The Walking Dead. We
watched three episodes in a row.
On
the way home, Monte had an urge for blueberry pie so we stopped at Walmart. They only had apple and cherry so I suggested
to we try Fry’s.
But just in case Fry's
didn’t have any blueberry pie either, we picked up a couple of lemon mini pies
(our second choice).
Fry’s
had blueberry pie but I couldn’t justify spending $8 for a small pie-and purchased a lottery ticket from the machine near the checkout.
On
the way to our car we passed a policeman writing a ticket for a truck illegally
parked in a handicap space. Monte asked
him how much that was going to cost. Over
$300! I hope the driver of the truck thought
it was worth it.
