7/31/2017 Niagara Falls (part 4)

We staked out our place on the observation deck near the Maid of the Mist early.  As it got darker, the crowds grew and began squeezing in where we were standing. 

 

 

 

BUT once it got dark and the falls began to be illuminated, it was well worth the wait and being jostled by the crowds.

 

 

  

At ten PM we were awed by a spectacular fireworks display. 

 

 

 

  

It was the perfect end to an incredible day.
