Father’s Day
is the day set aside to honor and appreciate fathers.
I appreciate my father every day of the year
because I happen to be lucky enough to have been blessed with a wonderful
father.
He is
generous and loving.
He is always
ready with a joke
and his laugh is so infectious that one can’t help but join
in, often to the point of tears.
Although I
am far from home, hearing his voice on the phone can instantly make me feel
like I am home no matter where I am.
