Lake Manatee State Park

The month of May was spent working at the park and visiting with family. We had been disappointed that we were not able to get back on the road as planned at the beginning of May but we were happy to be present to celebrate Mother’s day with my mom.

   We also had a great time with my nephew and his wife who were visiting from Vancouver Island and my niece and her husband visiting from Newfoundland. 

 

Monte had a follow up visit with his doctor.  He had a treatment on June 3 and was given the green light to travel.  We are looking forward to traveling for the next five months and plan on returning to Florida at the beginning of November for Monte’s follow-up test and possible additional treatments.
