Alexandria, VA

The campground we are currently staying at has a 14 day stay limit.  We were scheduled to leave by Friday, our 14^th day but got permission to stay through the weekend.  I was relieved because I was having a difficult time finding someplace with a reasonable rate within a couple of hundred miles because most of the parks accepting our Passport America membership do not honor the reduced rate on weekends.

We took a ride into Alexandria to pick up the satellite meter battery we had dropped off last week.   Originally we had planned on continuing on to Mt. Vernon to tour George Washington’s home but I wasn’t feeling well so we just picked up the battery and returned home.

We did briefly stop at a Miller Farms to check out the produce but didn’t end up buying anything.

 

 

I was feeling well enough after dinner to take a walk around the campground loop.
