Smithsonian Museum of Natural History
& Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian
We got kind of a late start for our second visit to the Smithsonian museums not arriving until almost 1PM.
For our first visit to the museums last week we had parked a couple of blocks away in a garage at a cost of $18 for the day.  In the late afternoon we noticed there were quite a few empty parking spaces along the mall so this trip we decided to try to find a spot.
After three trips around the mall without finding a spot we admitted defeat and drove over to the Jefferson Memorial parking lot and rode our bikes back to the mall.

It was already 2PM by the time we arrived at the National Museum of Natural History.

The museum closes at 5:30 so we only had one hour to watch a short film and walk quickly through the exhibits.
