Travel day from Toms River, NJ to Kinzers, PA

 

 

Our travel day was only 100 miles but it was very stressful crossing over a bridge ($17.50 for the rig and Jeep in tolls) heavy lunchtime traffic, rude drivers cutting us off and confusing signs.

But we finally arrived at our location at Roamers’ Campground at 2PM.  We selected a site in a large grassy field rather than the wooded area so we would have a clear satellite signal.

By the time we set up and drove a couple of miles down the road to the Laundromat it was already after 5. 

I had visited this area of Pennsylvania many times in the past when I lived in New York but it has been many years so I had forgotten how charming it is.
