November 13, 2013
Eastbank Campground, Bainbridge, GA
As predicted it was VERY cold last night.  We woke up to temps in the 40s and it stayed that way all day.
After lunch I decided to brave the cold and take a walk around the campground.  There are 63 sites spread out over three loops.
There are several overflow parking areas so having an extra vehicle is not an issue.  Some campgrounds we have stayed at charged a fee for my car even though it fit on our site.

Loop B has 21 campsites.  As I walked through I counted only 5 rigs in the loop.

The bathroom/showers are located in Loop B.  There is also a laundry room in a separate building with one washer and dryer.

This loop is further away from the lake.
This little model is cute but I couldn't imagine living in it full-time.
Loop C has 24 campsites.  I only counted 4 rigs in the loop.

Monte rode toward me on his scooter.

And there he goes.

Our loop, A, has 16 sites.

There were only three other rigs besides ours.

Continuing on down the road I came across the boat ramp.

She tentatively came down the steps.
We kept calling her to come to where we were sitting but she wouldn't get off the steps.
Finally, Monte went to her, picked her up and held her.
But something, probably a bird, spooked her and she jumped off his lap
and ran back to the steps to be let in.

Another beautiful sunset!
As soon as the sun set we went inside because it was chilly.  After spending the year out west, where it stays lighter later, it takes a little getting used to 5PM sunsets.
