Timmy’s Visit
Eastbank CG, Bainbridge, GA
Our grandson Timmy wanted to go fishing so we headed out the bait shop in town.

Our first stop was at the Dam to see the alligators but, unlike our previous visit where we spotted several, today we did not see one.

So we moved on to the nearby Clyde T. Hopkins Park where Timmy passed the time throwing rocks in the water

while Grandpa got the poles ready.

(Personally, I think if someone is going to go fishing they should have to hook their own worm-but when Timmy said he didn't want to touch the worm, grandpa did it for him.)

They gave up after an hour
and tried again back at the campground until it was time to go pick up Timmy’s mom, Melissa from work.

I stayed behind and the let “boys” have some alone time in the car.
When they returned, I grilled some hotdogs,
while Melissa and Timmy rode around the campground on Monte’s scooter.
Timmy made friends with a couple of boys camped across from us.

After dinner we invited the boys’ parents, Holly and Ian to share our campfire.

We enjoyed a very pleasant evening chatting while the boys used a piece of cardboard to slide down the hill behind our rig.
