Travel day from Apache Junction
To Mountain View RV, Bowie, AZ
Santa Fe RV Park was one of the nicest places we have stayed in and so we were kind of sorry to leave.

It was a nice, scenic drive and relatively a short travel day as we only drove 180 miles.

When we pulled into Mountain View RV we were not exactly bowled over but for an overnight stay it was okay.  (Although not really worth $15 and that was the half price with Passport America!)
When I went into the gas station to pay for the site there were dead bugs all over the place.  When I inquired if the bugs were a seasonal thing, the clerk said I should have been here two weeks ago.  At that time we would not have been able to walk anywhere without crunching bugs as we walked.  YEAH.
Also, the site was covered with some kind of thistle-like grass that is sharp and sticks to the bottom of shoes so you bring it in the rig with you.  YEAH.
We were able to get good satellite reception but no only Spanish-speaking TV stations with the antenna.  The only real positive I will mention is that the WiFi is free and very strong.
