Kit Fox RV Park

Patterson, CA

We drove from Santa Rosa to Patterson.  Although it had only been a short drive (120 miles) it was tiring as the roads were bumpy and neglected and many of the drivers have no common sense evident in the dangerous practice of cutting off the 5th wheel.  I guess they don’t realize that Monte cannot stop on a dime.  Morons!

Since embarking on this journey, I have only been separated from Monte a couple of times due to red lights.  This time the light seemed really long and it took me 15 minutes to catch up to him.  The routes on our GPS’ were different so I couldn’t rely on mine to find him.  I had to call him on the cell phone to ask which direction to go.  So it had been a relatively short drive but a very stressful one and we were both relieved when we pulled into the parking lot at the Kit Fox RV Park and checked in for two days.

It doesn’t exactly have a wow factor but it is clean and with our Passport America discount, the rate was reasonable.

After setting up we took a ride into the town and stopped at the supermarket for a few items.  Back home, we had Philly cheese steak sandwiches for dinner, watched a little TV and were ready for sleep before 11pm.
