El Solana RV Park
Inyokern, CA
We decided to stay two more days as Monte made an
appointment for tomorrow morning to have the transmission flushed at a service
station in nearby Ridgecrest. We just
lounged around in the morning. My
brother used to work at the China Lake Military Installation and had lived in
Ridgecrest. He moved away over 20 years
ago. I told him I would pass his old house to take
pictures. Once that was accomplished we
made a stop at Walmart and Home Depot.
We discussed taking a ride somewhere but it was already
3pm and everything worth seeing was too far away.
Back home, we spent the rest of the day listening to our
slide toppers flap in the heavy winds. By
6pm we couldn’t stand the noise anymore so we brought in the slides and spent
the rest of the night on the bed watching TV.
