What a wonderful day we had!
We took our inflatable kayak, which we purchased months before we left Florida and had never used, and paddled for about three miles until we reached where the Klamath River meets the Ocean.
On our way to the beach we encountered a few seals that playfully followed us. They would be on one side of the kayak one minute, go under the water and come up on the other side of us.

We went ashore, had a picnic
lunch and then walked to the other side of the beach to watch the wave’s crash
ashore.
We also saw bear prints in the sand. It was awesome!
