Visiting with family in Tallahassee
We had made arrangements to pick up our
grandson, Timmy from school at 3Pm. We
had never been to his school before so we weren’t quite sure where we were
supposed to wait for him. It was a
little chaotic as the doors opened and hordes of kids poured out going in
different directions.
But finally in the sea of faces, I spotted
him.
We had originally planned on taking him to
a park to kill some time until his mom got off from work.
But it began to rain so we ended up at a nearby
Walmart where Timmy had no problem finding things to occupy him.
After picking up Melissa we went to CC’s
Pizza for dinner. Our timing couldn’t be
worse because a school bus full of teenagers had arrived just before us. We forgot to take pictures-not sure if it was because we were really hungry or just having a good time.
After dinner, we dropped Melissa off at her
home and brought Timmy home with us for a sleepover.
On the drive home it dawned on us that we
might have a problem if we arrived after 10PM as the camp closes the gate. I couldn’t remember if they us Eastern or
Central time. We made it back just in
time.
