Englewood, FL
Just another sunny day in Florida
Even though we did nothing exciting today,
the day still flew by. We took care of
some banking and stopped at Walmart. I
only planned on buying a container of orange juice but ended up with four bags
of groceries. I broke the golden rule---NEVER
GO FOOD SHOPPING WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY!
Monte worked on our newest thrift store
find-a wheeled golf bag carrier. It
looked pretty nasty when we bought it but with a little elbow grease, Monte had
it looking brand new.
Wondering what we
will use it for? We are hoping it is
going to be a good kayak cart.
I recovered the mat we use on our dining
table. I purchased the self-adhesive
paper at the Dollar Tree.
One of the fears I had about buying a used
car has come true. Monte noticed the radiator
is leaking. We made an appointment for
tomorrow to take the jeep into the dealership because we have a 90 day
warranty. Hopefully the problem is part
of the coverage.
On a happier note, we received a call from
the volunteer coordinator at Little Manatee River State Park who offered us a
position for the months of April and May.
Annie, our cat, just can't get enough of her "daddy".
Monte is so tolerant. He just lets her "walk" all over him.
