Krazy
K RV Park, Camp Verde, AZ
Our
boondocking in Sedona has come to an end.
We would have stayed the full 14 days allowed if our tanks hadn’t needed
to be flushed.
Monte
took care of the outside departure chores while I took care of the inside.
When
it was time to leave, we both said our final goodbyes to Pumpkin. I thought I had been prepared for the overwhelming
sadness I thought I would feel but I was wrong.
I was heartbroken.
THANKS FOR ALL THE JOY YOU HAVE GIVEN US DURING THE LAST 8 YEARS.
WE WILL MISS YOU!
While Monte set up
I took our dirty wash to the on premises Laundromat. There were only two washers and dryers so it took me over three hours to get it all done.
To kill some time I took a walk around. The grounds are very well maintained.
The pool looked inviting-but it was too chilly to even consider taking a dip even if the pool was heated.

HAPPY TRAILS LITTLE BUDDY
I took a few final pictures before we pulled out.
I
followed Monte for 5 miles down the bumpy dirt road leading to the highway staying
far enough behind him so I wouldn’t eat his dust.
Once
we reached 89A it was a short 30 minute ride to our destination, Krazy K RV
Park in Camp Verde. We arrived just
before noon. I had called earlier to
ensure they had an opening and I was glad that I had because there was only one
site open.
After
checking in, the manager escorted us to our spacious pull-in site. While Monte set up

While
I was doing the laundry, Monte got the inside all set up, and vacuumed and
dusted.
We took the truck for gas and
filled the one propane tank we had used in Sedona.
We
both took LONG HOT showers. It is
amazing how the little things mean so much when you don’t’ have them for a
while.
