Boondocking in Sedona, AZ

After watching the morning ritual of hot air balloons at sunrise both Monte and I spent a couple of hours on our computers.
In the late afternoon Monte suggested a hike.  It was going to be a short hike so we didn’t even bother to take our backpacks with us.

I took a fall and told Monte he should take a picture but he was too concerned about my slight injuries to take advantage of the photo op.

Rabbit poop?

We came across old tracks from large animals.

Taking advantage of the rocks to lean on and rest.

After a little over a mile I said I wanted to start back so Monte checked our portable GPS and we retraced our route.

It had been very overcast all day and at 5pm we were only at 89% on our batteries.  Monte went up on the roof and repositioned the panels flat.    While he was up on the roof one of the Pink Jeeps passed by our site and I overhear the tour guide saying, “That RV is bigger than some New York City apartments.”  It cracked me up to think that we are part of the attraction on the tour.

We sat outside until it got too chilly.

The last few nights we have turned on the inverter by 6pm and didn’t turn it off until around 11pm but on those nights we had been at 100%.  So tonight we waited until 8pm to turn on the inverter.
Poor Anne is still looking like a lost soul without her best bud, Pumpkin.
This picture of Monte and Pumpkin
was taken just before we left our house in Florida to begin our new adventure.

YOUR ARE NEVER FAR FROM OUR THOUGHTS LITTLE BUDDY!
