Wilmore, KY

We slept in late and then took a ride into Lexington in the afternoon.  After driving around for a little while in heavy lunchtime traffic I told Monte that I didn’t feel like staying in the city.  I was in a kind of funky mood and not really up to crowds so we headed back to Wilmore stopping at Sam’s Club along the way to pick up fruit to bring with us to Bob and Jill’s house for dinner.

Bob and Jill have a couple of dogs and a couple of outdoor cats they feed. 

 

 

 

One of the cats took an instant liking to Monte. 

 

We had a very enjoyable evening that had me wishing we could spend a few more days in Wilmore.  But we have an appointment in Elkhart on Monday so we really must move on.
