Cape Blanco State Park

We worked the PM shift today and were so busy that I was surprised when I looked at my watch and saw it was almost 3:30.

When we got home I took advantage of the beautiful weather to sit outside while Monte got our hummingbird feeder set up.

 

 

 

Annie, our cat, was by the door meowing to be let out. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She came out,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 sniffed around for a few minutes and then went to the door wanting to be let back in. 

 

 

 

Our resident bunnies came out looking for dinner-It was probably a mistake to have given them carrots and lettuce because now they seem to expect to find some every time they hop around the rig.

It was an absolutely beautiful evening.  There was no wind and very good visibility down on the bluff overlooking the beach.  We were very disappointed not to see whales.
