Rainy day in Englewood, FL
We had planned on doing some shopping but
just as we were about to go out the heavens opened up and it poured. I thought the rain wouldn’t last long so we
waited and waited and waited. Finally at
5, when it was still raining we decided we didn’t need anything badly enough to
brave the weather and just settled in for the night.
Monte did change out our Dish replacement
receiver (our 6th replacement since arriving in Englewood at the end
of November) The issue with the receiver is that it periodically stops, without warning, at any time of the day to reboot. We have taken advantage of being in one place where we could receive packages to try to solve the problem. BUT every receiver we have been sent is a refurbished model and we are still having the same issue. Hopefully the receiver Monte installed today will be "the one".

The receiver is now installed and powered up and
then just goes through all the Dish Requirements. Activating the receiver, acquiring the
signals or the satellites, and downloading the program guide and scanning the
local HDTV Channels.
You should now be able to once again use the
receiver.
All of the previous receivers had various
problems from rebooting in the middle of watching programs to turning off in
the middle of the night and having to reacquire the satellite signals in the
mornings.
Good Luck
