Desert Sky

Still sick!  Not only are we miserable because we are not feeling well but being sick is putting a crimp on our holiday plans.  We were supposed to attend a potluck Christmas dinner last night at the clubhouse where we are staying.  But we didn’t go because we didn’t feel up to going out and because we didn’t want to pass on our germs to our unsuspecting neighbors. 

Last night I had set the alarm for 7am hoping we were going to feel better because we had been invited to attend the twins’ party in their classrooms.  However, when the alarm went off I knew we were going to have to disappoint the girls.  Monte’s throat is still sore and my head is very congested. 

Luckily it was warm enough outside to sit and read.  It was nice to get some fresh air.  Monte took apart our portable heater because it had started making a loud noise.  He fixed it of course.  His knowledge about electronics and mechanics has really saved us a lot of money over the years. 

We watched some TV and went to bed early hoping to get a good nights’ sleep and feel better tomorrow because we are invited to a party Saturday night.
