Coyote Campground
Dixie National Forest, Panguitch, UT
Yesterday petty much sucked but today was awesome.
It got down to the 30’s last night but we were quite comfy cuddling in our down comforter.
When we ventured outside we discovered that it was much warmer than inside.
It was lovely being able to enjoy our pancakes in this beautiful setting surrounding by Ponderosa Pines.

Even Annie enjoyed exploring her new temporary home.

We ended up packing up and moving to the next site because the site we were in had a tree blocking our solar panels.

The new site:

Now we are in full sunshine.
After the move, Monte went up on the roof and tilted the panels to better position them to receive the sun.
In the afternoon we took a walk on the road along the campground.

It led to an area from where there were several trailheads.

We walked a short way up the Thunder Mountain Trail

and were rewarded with spectacular views.

The sun was pretty intense.
We found this beautiful campground totally by accident after a series of misfortunes.  Sometimes things just work out for the best.
