From Klamath Falls to Lakeview, OR
We slept pretty good considering we were in a parking lot right off a very busy highway.  The service tech from the Dodge Dealer called at 8AM to say that they ran tests and could not find any problems.  WHAT?  We had the truck and rig towed over 80 miles for nothing.
Monte walked over to pick up the truck.  The tech suggested he do some running around town with the truck just to make sure the indicator light does not come on again.
He took our one propane tank to be filled and gassed up the truck.  The truck ran fine so we hitched up, paid the $90 to the dealer for the diagnostic testing and were on our way.
It was already 12:30 by the time we pulled out of the parking lot so we decided to make it a short drive today.

I had made the suggestion that we drive for an hour or so and then find a place to pull over to eat the sandwiches I had made us for lunch.  The route we took on Highway 140 is two lanes with no shoulder.  It was very curvy so most of the time we only did 40 MPH.  The very first opportunity to stop was in a small town 40 miles into the trip.

We pulled into the parking lot of a mini mart and ate lunch.

80 miles later we arrived at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in Lakeview, OR.   When the GPS directed us to turn into a road with a sign stating it was a ranch I thought I may have entered incorrect info into the GPS.  But there was a much smaller sign indicating there was an RV Park on the property somewhere.
We followed the arrows down a gravel road for approximately 1 ½ miles, stopping along the way to allow the cattle to cross the road.

Apparently the park is located in an 8,000 acre cattle and timber ranch.
All 40 sites are 80 foot pull-through sites with water and electric.  Only some of the sites have black tank hook-ups.
The sign at the entrance to the park instructed us to select a spot and the camp host would come and register us later on.

We chose site 33 because it had the least shade.  We are not sure where we will end up tomorrow night and want to make sure we have a full charge so a sunny spot was important to us.

The park sits at the edge of the juniper trees overlooking the 175 acre Junipers Reservoir.

With this type of lifestyle we get to experience many different "backyards".
Some are nicer than others.
I think this one is pretty nice.

Happy Birthday to my nephew, Adam.
This picture was taken when we visited with him in Spokane one year ago on his 30th BDAY.
And
Happy Birthday to my brother, Jon who shares the same birthday with his son, Adam.
