Cheraw State Park

Cheraw, SC

We are smitten with this campground so we took a ride over to the park office to inquire about the availability of extending in our site

The office was closed-there was a sign indicating it would re-open at 1PM so we took a walk down by the beach.

 

 

We discovered there is a boardwalk that connects the day use area to the campground across the lake.

 

 

 

When the office opened we found out our site was reserved so we would have to move on tomorrow.  Darn!

After dinner we took a walk around the lake on the board walk to the day use area.
