Cosca
Regional Park
Clinton, MD
We hadn’t
made plans to go anywhere which worked out great because it was chilly and
overcast all day. Monte made three trips
to the dump with our portable waste tank.
I researched
places to go when we leave here. Finding
inexpensive places is becoming quite a chore as the weather begins to
change. We like staying in COE and
county parks. They tend to be quite nice
and within our budget. But they also
tend to be filled up for the weekends with locals. That means we usually end up in a private
park most of which are quite a bit more expensive than a COE park. We have stayed in many parks that accept our
Passport America membership but those tend to have many restrictions, a common
one being not able to use the 50% discount on the weekend.
We will have
exhausted our 14 day stay at Cosca on Friday and at as of the writing of this
entry we are not sure where we will be going.
We took a walk around the loop hoping to see some wildlife.
We see deer and woodchucks almost everyday but didn't see any when we went looking for them.
I decided to bake a cake-looks good right!
It looked good until I tried to take it out and it fell apart. I really suck at baking.
