Desert Sky

(& Desert Mountain Park, Queen Creek)

 

 

After a lazy morning we drove to Queen Creek to meet up with my daughter Renee, Mom & Dad, and twin granddaughters Daphne & Kennedy at the Desert Mountain Park.

 

 

 

 

Weather-wise it was an absolutely perfect day to spend a couple of hours outside.  We sat at a table near the playground so we could keep an eye on the girls.  Dad took a few laps around the walkway while Mom worked on crosswords puzzles.  Grandpa Monte proved that when it comes to the grandkids he doesn’t mind getting down to their level.

 

 

 

 

He also braved getting kicked in the head by getting close to the girls just to get pictures of them while they were on the swings.

 

 

Back at Renee’s house, after an awesome dinner, we had an Ice Cream Social with all the toppings.

 

 

Daphne and Kennedy really enjoyed making their own concoctions.
