Desert Sky

It didn’t rain today but was it was cold enough to prevent us from doing much of anything.  I worked on some financials while Monte did some research on vacuum breaker check valves. 

In the late afternoon we took a ride to Walmart

This is the awesome view from the front of Walmart.

 

  to pick up some groceries.

We always pick the slowest cashier.

We had an early dinner because we had skipped lunch.  While I was preparing dinner I dropped a 5 pound canister of flour on the floor. (Wish I would have thought to take a picture)  What a mess!  There was perhaps a pound left in the canister.  Monte cleaned it up while I continued cooking.  It was upsetting at first but watching Monte try to keep the cats out of the mess was hilarious. 

After dinner, we got all bundled up for a walk and just as we were about to leave, it started raining.  Bummer.
